Высота объекта, который обнажается при малой воде, измеряется над нулём глубин и обозначается на карте подчёркнутой цифрой.
Высота осушки in practice
Drying heights are shown on charts as underlined numbers, for example 2 with a line under it means the feature dries 2 metres above chart datum. These areas are usually shaded green.
To find the depth over a drying feature: depth = height of tide minus drying height. If the result is less than your draught plus a safety margin, stay off.

- An underlined figure on a green area. Read '2' underlined with a small 1 as 2.1 m above chart datum.
- Can I cross a drying area?
- Yes, when the height of tide is greater than the drying height plus your draught and safety margin.
