Схема разделения движения
Также известен как: СРД
Определение
Система путей одностороннего движения, разделённых зоной, используемая в оживлённых водах, например в Дуврском проливе. Регулируется правилом 10 МППСС.
Схема разделения движения in practice
A traffic separation scheme (TSS) has one-way lanes with a separation zone between them, like a dual carriageway. Rule 10 of the COLREGs governs them.
Small craft should use the inshore traffic zone where possible. If you must cross a TSS, do so on a heading at right angles to the traffic flow, and never impede ships following the lane.
Common questions
- How do I cross a TSS in a yacht?
- Keep your heading at right angles to the lanes, even if the tide sets you sideways, and cross as quickly as possible.
- Where are the busiest TSSs near the UK?
- The Dover Strait, off Ushant, and off the Casquets in the Channel Islands.
